Cyclamen
In the photo above it looks to me like the cyclamen have pollinated and are trying to make seed. I had windows open for a few days last month and shortly after the flowers fell off of several blooms and I’ve been watching the stalks which have curled and now appear to be swelling with seeds. Anyone have any experience with this? I assume that the flowers won’t breed true and I’ll just end up with regular pink cyclamen, but I thought I’d go ahead and collect the seed just to see what happens.
Hosta
The previous owners of my house planted loads of Hosta in full sun, which really they aren’t tolerating well so I’ve started dividing and moving them. But I have one little guy I was thinking of putting in a pot – will Hosta grow well as a container plant?
