I have a hosta I thought I had killed last year. It came back this year but only has 3 leaves. It’s planted under a cedar tree in full shade. Said tree sheds needles. The surrounding ferns are very happy so I don’t get it. This is my first hosta…am I a bad plant mommy?
There are 2 pics under the cut: 1. Birthday present carnivorous plant. No name on the tag…anyone? 2. Is it normal for a bird nest fern to have ‘forked’ leaves?

Thank you!
