I bought this poor little honeysuckle two autumns ago, and it just doesn’t seem to want to grow much. It is along an east facing fence, so gets late morning/early afternoon sun, and then some early evening sun. I’m wondering if it needs transplanting to an area with longer periods of sunlight? On the other side of the fence I realized the neighbor has some weed/trees growing, and wondering if the roots of those are sucking energy away from the honeysuckle roots.
Anyway, anyone who grows honeysuckle that has any advice, would sure appreciate hearing some ideas to help this baby thrive better. Thanks.
