A Jellyfish in my rock garden

It seems like the baby grows, (the weight forcing the parent leaf to the ground), the roots take hold, the baby grows, repeat…amazing spreading evolution! The root coloration is also very “otherworldly”. Note to oneself: must aquire a time-lapse camera, I just know those roots are writhing around.

I want to thank everyone who provided input into my “dying fish” post – I ended up losing 9 of 18 fish, but the rest appear to be doing ok, and the water is returning to normal…phew! I think the post has since been removed from this forum, which I believe is really unfortunate as there was a lot of great information in there for someone else who may have a water garden, and have this tragedy happen to them.

Is this plant a Donkey Ear? is that it’s real name?
