A little bit of pretty

A little bit of pretty

*sigh* It's much harder to post pictures right away when you're working with film rather than digital. Oh well.

Here's my rose. Do any of you have any idea what variety she might be? I really like her.

For ID purposes, here's some different pictures that I took last year. The smell is really light, not much of it, but what you can smell is very sweet. I also know that you can do cuttings really easily off of it. I managed to get one going (before I killed it anyway, I can't do potted plants) in a cup of water, no rooting hormone needed.

All new growth is this dark burgundy color that gradually changes to a deep green.

Here is her basic shape. She'll put out canes like crazy so I'm inclined to belive she's a climber. Last year one of her canes got up into a tree off to the right of this picture.

And one more picture because it's pretty. I actually took this one last year. It had been raining a lot so we hadn't been able to mow the lawn. I went outside, the sun was rising, and the whole yard was covered in dew and was shining and glittering.
