Here's my rose. Do any of you have any idea what variety she might be? I really like her.
For ID purposes, here's some different pictures that I took last year. The smell is really light, not much of it, but what you can smell is very sweet. I also know that you can do cuttings really easily off of it. I managed to get one going (before I killed it anyway, I can't do potted plants) in a cup of water, no rooting hormone needed.
All new growth is this dark burgundy color that gradually changes to a deep green.
Here is her basic shape. She'll put out canes like crazy so I'm inclined to belive she's a climber. Last year one of her canes got up into a tree off to the right of this picture.
And one more picture because it's pretty. I actually took this one last year. It had been raining a lot so we hadn't been able to mow the lawn. I went outside, the sun was rising, and the whole yard was covered in dew and was shining and glittering.
