A little DIY Spring Cleaning

A little DIY Spring Cleaning

For those of you that have a Home Depo nearby and wish to do some spring cleaning, maybe this will help save you money: For $20 and 24 hours you can rent a carpet cleaner that comes with attachments for sofas and chairs. I use the upolstery attechemnts to clean under the bed and clean around the base boards of my carpted bedrooms then I use the machine to clean the traffic areas and the rest of the carpet. The attachment works great on sofas, chairs and especially to clean the interior of cars. I take the mats out of the car clean them and then clean the rest of the interior of the car. In less than 5 hours yesterday I cleaned the bedrooms, two sofas, two chairs, the motorhome and 3 cars. If you were to pay a cleaning sevice to do all of this, I would cost upwards of $500. The only additional cost is purchasing the cleaning solution. I go to a local vacuum store where they sell all kinds of cleaners. I buy one that is organic and just leaves the carpet clean without any fragrances since I have bad allergies. I took the cleaner back early and got a few bucks back so it only cost me like $15 to clean my carpets and upolstery. Happy Spring Cleaning!
