Ok people, I posted about our situation a few days ago and we sort of made a plan for the next few years. Let me know if this plan makes sense to you and if you have any additions.
So…
1. I have a $500 cellphone bill and I will sell my cellphone (which is a Sidekick II, from when I had life good!) for about $300, and pay the rest of the bill and transfer my contract.
2. My boyfriend just contacted a company to work as a rep for them, and our neighbor is working import/export and is willing to do it with him and invest the money for him. He has to front the money, then sell the good. Kinda like you sell me something for a dollar and I re-sell it for $5 (with bigger amounts of money of course). The % he makes on the goods is 28%. If any problem occurs, he could sell his order on ebay realllyyy easily. If this doesn’t work he will return to his home with the dog to work while I finish school (I didn’t mention before but he used to be in a band before, and we were constantly apart from him touring, so I know we can do it)
3. I will keep working my day job and try to find jobs on the side for the time I am in school.
4. We will keep looking for a cheaper place
5.While we are both working, we are going “pay ourselves” 10% of our paychecks every time we get money to save for further expenses and any debt we have to clear.
6. When we have money from both jobs we will get engaged.
7. For my medical bills and contacts, I will ask my parents to pay half or 1/4 so it’s easier for me.
8. When I am done school, I will move home with my parents (they will not ask me to pay rent and probably not food either) and work for a few months (I was thinking 6), so we have money for papers and stuff.
9. When I am done school, boyfriend will either move from home if he is working there, or move to Cali to get everything settled, find a place and work.
10. If boyfriend has to move home, I will find a new, cheap place with roomates, but for now we are going to keep the place and keep looking for something else because everything we’ve been looking at so far is very inconvenient (too far from work/school and I have to go from work to school in a short amount of time because my school is at night after work)
If anyone is in Quebec(Montreal) and knows of the cheapest way to have a house phone, that would be greatly appreciated. We really miss being able to speak to people haha. Thanks so much for your good advice to everyone!
