I'm 23 and I moved here to Cardiff with my boyfriend at the beginning of the year. We are probably going to have to move out of this place soon because (considering my absolutely unexecutive job in retail), it's toooo expensive - but I have taken some photos and wanted to know what everyone thought of my efforts.
It's a rented flat so we can't do massive moderations but here is what I've done... not including the tiny bathroom and generic granite worksurface kitchen, which are both quite dull and difficult to modify..
The fireplace. I do like a nice period feature.
The "work" corner of the living room in which no work ever occurs.
A close up of that picture frame. This was a gift from a friend which I filled with interesting pictures. I drew the one on the bottom right.. *proud*.
Blurry awful photo - but you can see the size of the living room. The kitchen is off to the left there, it's open plan. That rug (from boyfriends mother) sheds all over the floor but I love it.
I find it hard to de clutter
that bizarre leather headboard bed came with the flat..... I'm really not sure about it. His and hers Ikea lamps (I live about 10 minutes away from an Ikea, that god!).
The only photographable part of the strangly shaped long bedroom.
The norse goddess Ikea provides for us again, praise be.
A messy picture from when we first moved in of the tiny spiral staircase up to the tinier 2nd bedroom.
And up the stairs....my boyfriends music 'stwdio'
Ceilings is it?
Postcards I got in Morocco
A picture of me twatting about in the bedroom next to the hidious "overprivacy for the complaining next door neighbour" patterned plastic windows.
Well, that is where I live at the moment.
