I'm currently past due on my Dell payment (only 1 month), and can't afford to pay it until the end of the month. Since then, they've been doing the usual harassing of my phone, calling 5 times a day. So I called them and told them that I can't pay right away, but I can pay in another week, and even gave them a day. I also told them to stop calling my phone, since I had talked to someone about the issue. Their response:
"We can't do that. We have to keep calling you until we recieve your payment."
What? I couldn't believe it. Despite the fact I called, talked to someone and set a date, they're gonna continue harassing me? It's frustrating when the majority of your calls comes from Dell.
My question is, are they allowed to do this? When I fell behind on credit cards, I told them the same thing and the calls stopped.
Any advice would be great.
