Advice needed, junipers and ginsing ficus

Advice needed, junipers and ginsing ficus

I have two questions: 1. My bf and I bought 2 moonglow junipers that are about 5' tall and put them in bthe front yard. When we planted them, they were a teenie bit brown (mabye due to being in pots for so long). But now, they are more brown than before! I water them a few times a week and try to soak them. Do they need more water? I put a bit of horse manure in with both of them. It was dried up, but I can't say how old it was. Could that be what's wrong? If anyone has an idea, i'd apreciate it, I dont want them to die haha! 2. I bought a plant at ikea a few months ago called a ginsing ficus. the tag didn't say how to care for it. It's leaves have been falling off. I moved it to a sunnier spot but it's leaves are falling off. Anyone know how to care for it and help it not die? Thanks for any of the advice (and I swear I don't kill all my plants hahah)
