What with the crappy real estate market and so many people moving into apartments in the past year, my rent has gone up almost $200. I was looking online to see how much all the recently vacant apartments in my building are going for (vacant probably due to people being able to finally buy houses, or perhaps moving into cheaper shared housing), and turns out they are being rented for $1050/month while my rent has not dropped from it's current rate of $1185/month. How do I handle this when I call the apartment manager later this afternoon to ask her about it?
