I almost forgot to check the weather last night. Good thing I remembered, there was a frost warning in effect. So it was outside to harvest by flashlight. I left a few eggplant, zuchini and peppers behind in case it didn’t get below freezing. I shouldn’t complain it only took 15 minutes to harvest these: <img src='http://eqfe.icons.ljtoys.org.uk/mi/dot.gif' border=0 alt=''>
Best year ever for eggplant, despite the late start. I’m very happy with the yield from only 9 plants. Looks like we didn’t have frost last night, and I have about a dozen 4-6 inch ones still on the plants.
A modest zuchini harvest and more cucumbers, another bumper crop this year. The tomatoes are hard to get to in the dark, so it we didn’t have frost I have a few more outside. A dismal crop this year..
