Earlier I made a post about an aloe I dug up from my family’s land in St. Petersburg, FL. You guys gave me such great info I wanted to ask about this plant.
On the same property, for the same reasons (they were to be sold) I dug up a couple of very small off-shoots from this parent plant. People have told me its Yucca but all the Yucca I’ve seen have hairy spines. What the heck is this crazy cactus-type thing? The tip of it’s spines are quite irritating (as in once the poke you they cause inflamation). As you can see from this privacy fence, the main plant is close to 5 ft. tall and f ft. wide.
My next question is: can I plant it in the ground here in Huntsvile, Alabama at the top of zone 7?
