Have any of you dug up plants and moved them to a new garden hundreds of miles away? I'm going to be moving in the next year and I've put a lot of time and money into my garden here. I know moving the bulbs will be a piece of cake aside from digging them all up, but I would like to take my roses and a couple other hard to find plants too. Would it be more worth it to buy new ones when I move or is it quite possible to dig them up and...say...keep the roots in dirt or moistened newspapers until I can replant them?
