Almost a month has passed since I last posted anything about Wild Thing on April 4.
It hasn’t flowered yet, but the spikes are still growing and growing. It has reached the screen overhead again, and I will have to tie on a little more weight to pull it down some.
Here are the pictures from April 4, and today, May 2. I tried to stay in the same position today as I did on April 4 for better comparison.

And here is another air plant that fell out of our daughter’s magnolia tree about two weeks ago. Our grandson had picked it up from the yard and shoved it down in the trash can and so the flower spike was growing at a strange angle. I rescued it from there and stuck it in a planter I had hanging outside under the oak tree. It had quite a large root system on it, so hopefully it will attach and keep surviving. I figure if it could survive being stuffed in the trash can for a week, it can survive anything.
