So I am just learning about the ant/aphid relationship and, amazingly enough, I have both in my rose beds! I’ve sprayed a pesticide on the roses (before I understood the relationship between aphids and ants) that seems to be doing absolutely nothing. Aphids and ants still abound, I imagine because the pesticide includes aphids, but nothing about ants? Is there something for both that doesn’t hurt roses?
