Any Master Gardeners out there?
I went to my local Cooperative Extension today to bring a branch from a sickly tree... and I got to talking to the volunteers there. After about half an hour they mentioned I should check out the "certified cooperative extention Master Gardener" program available at the state university's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. I try and take a "fun class" every year or so.. and this does seem fun. I've got a big yard and I'm always researching problems that arise, and I think it'll help me in yard and veg garden (and compost heap). It fits into my budget dollar wise and schedule wise... Has anyone taken a course like this? What did you think? Did you learn alot, was it a positive experience? Comments? I think these sorts of courses are offered in several states, I'm in Connecticut TIA
