Here's a question for you pros! I am currently living with my boyfriend in a small apartment with no land to plant a garden. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with tall containers to plant my veggies in that my ferret cannot reach and destroy. I don't really have the option of growing outside on my patio because the squirrels eat everything I put outside. So...I'm kind of stuck to indoor growing right now. I recently came up with the idea of planting some veggies in a fish tank. Could I put some compost and soil in a large fish tank and use the aquarium as a place to grow, say...tomatoes or edamame? Or would the lack of drainage to the soil hurt my plants? Thanks for the advice!!
