ARGH!

ARGH!

I am so pissed!!! I’ve had apartments, cable/internet, and utilities (gas and electric) in MY NAME ALONE for almost 4 years. I also have a Macy’s Visa (not a Macy’s store card, but an actual VISA that I use everywhere) for almost a year. I pay all my bills on time. I have used the Visa every month (except for one) and I pay it off IN FULL every month.

APPARENTLY this is “not sufficient credit” for a God Damn Amazon Chase Visa. I WANT MY AMAZON VISA SO THAT I CAN GET $30 OFF AN INITIAL PURCHASE – I WANTED to use this for ordering textbooks for the fall, but nooooooooooooooooooooooo I was cockblocked denied! WTF!? I was instantly approved for the Macy’s Visa a year ago! What gives???? I also have a relatively high limit on that card, too. So I THOUGHT my credit rating/score/report was sufficient and I know it’s perfect.

What gives? Is this some of that B.S. “The economy is sooo bad, so we are soooo afraid to extend credit!!!” crap???

Also… now I’m worried that this will hurt/ding my credit since I applied for a card and was denied :( I was totally confident that I would be instantly approved – ARGH!

I really want that card since I use Amazon frequently and it’s a good “rewards” card. But now I don’t know when the hell I’ll be able to get it… I don’t want to keep applying and keep getting denied.

I also went on Equifax’s site per the instructions on the rejection letter and tried to get my report, but the damn site said I couldn’t get it online and would have to call a number!!!

WHY ARE THEY F-ING WITH ME SO MUCH??? I mean, seriously!!!

Thanks, everyone!
