So my Dell is dying (it's to the point where the screen goes grey every five minutes and I have to hit it 10-15 times for it to flicker back on again). I'm sick and tired of this computer (had to reinstall the OS twice) and want to be done with it. So I am looking at the adorable, teeny-tiny Asus computers. (Link here.) I like them a lot because they are tiny (my hands are tiny, so the keyboard won't be a problem). I also just need them for word-processing, e-mail, internet, and sometimes playing music. The tiny hard drive doesn't bother me because I have a sweet 200GB external hard drive. I'm more concerned about the RAM--has anyone tried to add more RAM to theirs? I thought there was a way to convert hard drive space to function as RAM--is that just a figment of my imagination? Also, the price can't be beat: $300-500. Has anyone had any experience with these? P.S. Please don't tell me to buy a desktop--I am functionally homeless and need something I can carry around.
