At my terrace…

At my terrace…

This morning as I went to the terrace, I had a surprise : a first tulip... (It is from a pack of Tulips Lady Jane (tulip clusiana) I received because some interesting oxalis I ordered was out of stocks)

Last summer I had planted a few marigolds next to the tomatoes in the pot, there was some seeds left on the soil, and they are sprouting, I'll need to work on this batch putting them in separate little pots while they get bigger...

The echinacea sprouting back... and the tiny ones are blue centaureas (cornflowers)

Another surprise of the morning is a cobaea scandens (cathedral bells)... As I've read it needs heat and such and so on and it was rather cold since I planted the seeds, I didn't have much hope about them... Now I'll be watching closely the other seeds and hope they will act the same...

And last, there was a special visitor at the terrace...
