Hey, m’dears~
I just moved into my first house! (YAY!) I’m also getting married (another yay! ;p) on September 29th…
Here’s my dilemma. The front garden (which faces the rising sun – gets about 50% of the day’s sun) is just weeds. With the wedding happening at the house (and outside!), this just won’t do. But – it’s almost September! I can’t start stuff from seeds.
My question to you lovely gardeners – what will grow in 50% sun that I can find at a nursery? I don’t want perrenials, because with the wedding planning and (frantically) trying to put the house together as the wedding date looms, I don’t want to plan the gardens. I want this to be a one time thing, and then be able to plan my gardens – at my leisure (and over a nice mug of tea) – over the winter. :)
Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated~ I’m in Zone 5 (Western New York).
