I’ve never done well with azaleas as they won’t grow in my soil in this part of Kent. But this one which was languishing in a corner I repotted in ericacious and fed from February onwards. I think it worked!
So rushed out and bought a white one which potted up last night for next year.
And I love this double tulip. It looks more like a rose!
Planted more astilbes in quiet corner to make a nice feathery feature during the summer. And a convolvulous next to the pergola. I know this is looked on as a weed by many people, but last year I saw one trained over an arch in a cloud of white flowers. It was magnificient. I’ll let you know if mine succeeds!
