Baby wipes & cell phones
I read this article on making baby wipes and automatically thought "poor skills!" Also, I recently called Sprint to cancel my phone service and found that the customer service representative was more than willing to cut my current bill (~$73) to $50 and add minutes (from 550 to 1000) or match a competitors' minutes and price. She also said she would credit my account the difference I previously paid. After speaking to a few people in the know (Sprint store employees), I was told that there are employees specifically trained to handle customers who want to cancel their contract and they have the ability to offer pretty much anything within reason to prevent it from occurring. So I don't know if you can use that to your advantage or what not, but that's that.
