Bachelor Apartment

Hello, my name’s Liz. I’m 20 years old and live in Manitoba, Canada, in a bachelor apartment that’s about 270 sq ft(?). The main room is a disaster right now (there was a bed bug scare in the building, and two building-wide fumigations which required packing all your stuff up. both times I had no bed bugs! :D). I’ve been living here for a little over a year, and I’m still trying to downisize (I’m down to the sentimental and school stuff, ugh).

I also want a bit of advice on what to do with my kitchen. its so.. plain, and I just never got around to doing anything special with it. I like red accents in kitchens. I was thinking maybe some art, and some curtains, but I’m not sure what sort of theme I want :P

I wouldn’t mind more art or photos in the bathroom, but I’m kind of worried about water damage from the humidity. I keep my bathroom well ventilated though.

For both the kitchen and bathroom, I HATE the tile floors. They look perma-dirty, no matter how often I wash them. I’ve kind of made peace with them, but they still look gross :(
