So it’s been since April that we’ve had any real rain here. All of my tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, potatoes, they’ve all withered and succumbed to blight, since I don’t seem to be able to water them enough. I’m pulling up my dead plants this weekend and planting something more drought tolerant. I’ve been forbidden from growing okra this year, so I’m considering the yardlong bean.
Anyone grown these? What other drought and heat tolerant crops should I consider?
