I have thrown out all identifiers to the veggies I planted in late April. I was surprised when one of them started dropping fruit last week. That’s kind of early for peppers. I got the seedlings at Home Depot who, I’ve found, are not good at all at identifying their plants. Couple that with the fact that I’m not too swift and you’ve got my current problem: I don’t know what pepper this is.
Here are a few clues:
One of the pepper plants had a tag that identified them as ‘early chili’.
They are sweet and friggin DELICIOUS!
O.K., I’ve never had a pepper directly off the plant, so I guess the wonderful flavor of it took me by surprise. But seriously– Holy Cow, the taste is incredible!
