Hi all,
My boyfriend’s having trouble with a begonia plant I gave him awhile back, and I’m hoping I can get some tips on how to revive it!
It has powdery mildew – sprayed with milk, baking soda + water, and fungicide. And put in the sun, what little we get. It’s gone and come back a few times. Now it’s looking pretty bedraggled, the flowers have all fallen and the leaves are starting to shrivel up as well. The stems still look pretty vigorous.
Info on the net says to reboot it should be cut back to within three inches of the crown. So I guess the question is, where does the crown end exactly? It branches right near the soil; should it be left with just three inches above the soil line?
And help would be much appreciated! Photo is behind the cut.
