This has been my first time growing tomatoes, and of course, I end up with issues. But this is all my fault and I know it. I tend to go to sleep really late, and wake up around 11am (ah, unemployment…) when the heat of the day has already set in and my container tomato pots have dried out.
So, uneven watering. And that leads to, what else, blossom end rot. Fantastic.
I’ve set up little pop bottle irrigation systems, so at least the water will dissipate more slowly, and since the fiance comes home from work at 7am, I can set out a watering can for him to give the tomatoes in the morning.
I blog more often about my gardening and other hobbies over here, although hopefully I’ll be doing that more often, considering I have nothing better to do.
