birdhouse gourd seed viability?

birdhouse gourd seed viability?

After cleaning up my office, I found a bunch of birdhouse gourd seeds I had misplaced that were given to me by a friend about a year and a half ago. They’re all inside a sealed, dry paper envelope (in a room about 65-75ºf).

Are they still good to plant, or should I toss them? I know that seeds have a certain time length in which they’re still viable, but I couldn’t find any specific information about the birdhouse gourd variety. Thanks for any pointers!
