Black Plastic Garden Edging Installation and Chicken Wire Fence
I'm trying to install some of the black plastic edging to isolate gravel from my driveway from the rest of the yard a bit and to make the edges of it neater and also around a few garden beds. I'm finding the stuff fantastically frustrating to work with, however. It won't unroll properly, no matter how hard I pound stakes in they pop out, and the whole roll is ungainly and hard to keep straight. I'm considering cutting lengths of it and installing it in sections instead of all in one go, but that adds another step to an all ready tedious project. Does anyone have any good advice/suggestions for installing this stuff? Or how to cut it? I have other projects piling up- like a fence to install to keep out deer. Does anyone have suggestions on how to make a chicken wire fence less ugly? I'm going to plant beans and morning glories over it, and maybe some other things but I'm hoping there is something clever I can do to improve the look of it I haven't thought of. Thanks!
