Is fresh oregano supposed to be pretty much tasteless? I started some from seed a few years back, and now I have a huge, leafy oregano bush. It was probably your basic generic 'greek oregano,' but I forget! Anyways, I've tried adding tons of the stuff to marinara and it adds nothing! Do I need a different variety? It's almost a shame to kill off my oregano shrub, but I will if I must!
