So my bread attempts came out well! I did sub cinnamon for cardamon, and it has turned out well. It’s sweet – a breakfast bread. I am excited to try some other flavors and am really glad this loaf came out well. The batter bread recipe never did turn out. I baked the second loaf without it rising and it’s a bit dense, although the flavor isn’t terrible. I also made beer bread, which has turned out very well (and which my boyfriend LOVES, imagine that?). So, here are some pictures of my day in the kitchen.
