Bugs and Spiders Everywhere….
Ok, so recently I've found that I'm having a problem with bugs. Specifically ants, because I don't think there's much I can do about the flying ones. x.x Also, for the last month I have been having a problem with spiders. I understand spiders eat bugs, and as far as I am aware, none of the spiders that have decided to take up residence in my house are poisonous but..... I'm arachnophobic. I'm not as bad as I used to be, they stay away from and I stay away from them, and it's ok, but these spiders are trying to take over every corner of my house, and for every web I knock down, five more appear. I know bug bombs work well for all of them, but I live in a duplex, and an old one at that. I don't think bug bombs are an option. My husband doesn't want to get any of the long lasting spray pesticides, and thinking about it, I don't really want to either. We have a kitten, and she's a bug eater. Catches them without a problem, so I don't want her to end up getting poisoned. Baking soda is one of the things I've seen that's recommended along with Borax. I don't really know what Borax is, but I'm sure I can easily find out. Here are my questions: (Dumb question, but I have to ask) Is there any chance that either of these will stain carpet? Do they work on linoleum surfaces as well? And my most important question: Will either of them get rid of the spiders? Thanks.
