Busy Day for Gardening!

Busy Day for Gardening!

Today we went to another seminar at English Gardens concerning spring maintanance and planting tips. While we were up there, we picked up some garlic, 1 year asparagus crowns and hot wax seeds. At that point, we decided we were going to expand our growing area... Here is what we came up with: I already had the patio greenhouse, which I paid $40 for and purchased another 2 grow lights for $10 each. The entire thing cost me $70, and it can handle about 9 flats at a time! Then, we got to planting... We planted 16 cloves of garlic, 5 varieties of peppers and 4 varities of tomato! As far as previous plantings go, I have onions, celery and most of my herbs poking through the soil. We are really excited to see how all of these are going to grow, I cannot wait til spring!
