I’ll find out in 3 weeks if I’ve been accepted into a post-graduate internship. If I am, I’ll have to provide proof of health insurance before starting the program in August. I’m single with no kids and I’m too old to be covered by my parents’ policy.
So! How do I go about shopping for my own health insurance policy? I don’t even know where to begin…how do I know who is reputable, what’s a fair price, what coverage to expect, etc? I’d kind of like to start this process now and buy the coverage asap, since I’ll lose access to the student health center after graduation in May. So I’d really like a policy that can travel from one state to another.
