My mother has a little pot of basil in her kitchen and noticed holes appearing in the leaves. She called last night and asked me to look at it when I came over this morning. After inspecting the plant for a minute, I found at least 4 cabbage loopers (inch worms?) munching it. I don’t know much about them other than how to identify them and that they make holes in leaves.
Can I just pick them off to save the plant (I’m not afraid to touch them), or will more drastic measures be necessary?
