Rarely does time go by that nothing blooms in New Orleans. In fall and spring we have roses, in the summer it’s the hot tropical plants, and even with the weird cold spell and nasty weather I present:
Pink Pearl Camellia. The inside of the camellia is actually a very creamy white, it’s just hard to capture because of the shadows.
And a blue annual we picked up at home depot expecting it to last only a week or so, as it’s supposed to bloom between 35 and 45 degrees, but our weather has been cool enough it’s been blooming two weeks and still going strong
