Photo is of a tea rose bush almost completely covered by out of control spearmint. I cut the spearmint close to the ground to dry the leaves for winter tea. Then I pulled as many of the stems and roots as I could get to. I didn’t eliminate it of course, and didn’t want to but this well I’ll get some roses before its overgrown again.
