CareCredit

CareCredit

Hi guys, first-time poster, but this is just a tip for anyone using or considering using CareCredit: I had been consistently paying the 15th of every month and noticed they'd been charging me late fees, though I had paid on the same day every month for nearly a year. Come to find out, their 'due date' moves around, so if you pay on the 15th, they might change your due date from the 16th to the 14th and charge you a late fee. Of course, the best way to live is credit-free, but if you're considering using credit for a health-related cost, avoid CareCredit if you can. I did call them and ask them to move my due-date to a fixed date, even spoke with a supervisor, and was told (very politely) that they weren't able to help me. I now pay my bill the first of every month, and am determined to never use a credit company which tells me they "can't help me." Cheers!
