Chase Payment Protector Plan.
So i was looking through my bills today and i noticed that on both my Chase credit cards i have this "Payment Protector" plan. I don't ever remember signing up for any kind of protector plan. I called Chase and they were like "ooh we never sign you up for anything unless you give us consent to do so". I seriously don't remember ever agreeing to this. I remember them calling me about it and sending me junk in the mail but i never said YES i want in! Weird. Anyways, i was reading up on the program and it sounds like i could really use it now. Since i have like next to no money coming in. The plan supposedly allows to put your accounts on hold for up to two years and not have to pay anything. And it won't effect your credit and credit rating (that is what the site says). I am wondering if anyone here has used it before? To me it sounds like a good idea, but i don't know it sounds too good to be true. I could really use it to freeze up my accounts until i get a new job. But i am wondering what if they charge me up the ass with interests after i decide to unfreeze the accounts. I think i should call chase and ask them a ton of questions about it. Any suggestions of what i should ask? If anyone wants to see what i am talking about here is the site: http://www.chasepaymentprotector.com/ Suggestions, advice would be nice. thanks. :)
