Cheap Cat Entertainment
I work at a animal shelter and rescued a cat last weekend that was going to be put down. She's barely a year old and already has had a litter of kittens so she kinda in that awkard cat but kitten phase. I bought her one of those toys that has a long thin plastic piece then feather/bells attched to the end. I work 8 hours a day and dont want her being bored in my house. I'm also afraid she'll get "bored" because she is now going to be soley an indoor cat when before as a stray she was outside. I've had other cats but never worried about their "boredom" because they could go outside and explore then come back in to be fed and loved on. So, I was wondering if anybody had any other suggestions for cheap toys/entertainment for her. Also had anybody had any luck with scratching posts? She's already decided to claw my one couch and I really don't want to get her declawed if I dont have to. I've just heard a lot of people complain that they buy a scratching post and their cat never uses it. Thanks.
