I’m selling my photography at a craft fair in November, so I’m starting to make my prints and mat them now. Does anyone know where to get cheap matting for photos? I know Wal-Mart has them for really cheap, but I refuse to shop there. I tried Michael’s, but the ones I’m looking for (the frame part, and the cardboard backing to attach the matting frame and photo to) start at $6.99 each. That’s not a huge amount alone, but I’m estimating I’ll have about 75 prints to sell, so that will really add up. Does anyone know of a store that may have them for cheaper? I live in Maryland, btw.
