cheap way to clean/deodorize furniture??

Before I got my cat neutered he was quite the sprayer, he'd basically pee on anything that was in the floor. Especially anything that was in the unused room in the house, including a chair that went with an old couch I left behind in a previous move. Since then, I've cleared out the room in hopes of using it as a proper living room. He never sprays anymore, but I can still smell it pretty badly on the chair. I've febreezed it, vacuumed it, lysoled it, took a scrub brush and carpet cleaner to it, still nothing. I've considered renting a sho-vac type thing. But if it does not come out, it's going out beside the road. I trashpicked another chair already, but i don't want to get rid of the other chair if I do not have too. and I don't know if this helps, but, the material is sort of velvety. It has to be at least from the late 70's-early 80's judging by the design of the material.
