cheapest way to paint an apartment
my new landlord said if we paint the apartment we dont owe rent til september (thus saving each of us $300). What is the cheapest way to paint an apartment with your color preferences? is there anywhere that offers particularly well-priced paint? How about the peripheral supplies: brushes, primer, tape, drop-cloths, etc. I was thinking of just buying used sheets to put at the floor (we wont have too much furniture in yet while we are painting) and then calling on my family for their used supplies (or freecycle?). The colors really matter, unfortunately, or else i'd just use leftovers from people....but its a small space and we really want to improve the dinginess - its all very dark.
