Cheap / Makeshift Closet / Wardrobe

Cheap / Makeshift Closet / Wardrobe

Hi guys, I’m moving into a basement that has super cheap rent. The one drawback is that the basement doesn’t have a closet. It has a bathroom and a window I can easily escape out of so there is no code violations.

But I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I could build a closet/wardrobe for my clothes.
I have a tall dresser but it isn’t enough for both my dress clothes and casual clothes and undergarments and such.

I’m thinking of something like These but cheaper. There is one there for $69 but it’s super flimsy and I need something a bit sturdy.

Oh and I’d PREFER to not just do a clothes line because I’m planning on living here for a year while I finish school and want it semi comfortable and not just looking like a storage unit!

Any ideas??
Thanks much!

Edit: I thought I should clarify, I’d like to either buy or build my own, if anyone has any idea how to build one cheaply.
I’ve been looking online and most of the cheap ones people are saying are super flimsy.

I am hoping you have solved your closet challenge. Anyway, one year goes by so fast! As long as you have a simple closet that can hold your items well, you can always decorate and arrange your things in order to avoid making your living space look like a walk-in closet. I’m just lucky that in my case, having to stay in my home for the long term, I had my closets made by a custom closets NJ company. I hope you can have your dream closet come to life too!
