Yesterday I got a little bit suspicious of a giant plant, that I’d originally thought was one of the Chinese lanterns that I’d planted hogging up a lot of space in one area of my garden. I thought that taking some pictures of the two and posting them here might help someone at some point in time.

The interloper and his cousin’s has been uprooted. Had I not noticed the difference in the stalks in that second photo he I wouldn’t have caught on to the fact that he did not belong in there.
I hope the labels on the photos are not confusing. Since LJ changed something last week I’ve been having difficulties posting pix.
