Cleaning lime deposits and iron stains inside of the dishwasher have just gotten easier.
Pour a package of lemonade Kool-Aid (this is the ONLY flavor that will work for this)
into the detergent cup and run the dishwasher while it’s empty. The citric acid in the mix wipes out
those stains in the washer and freshens up the entire unit.

This is one I do on a regular basis with my garbage disposal.
I toss an entire lemon down the drain, pack it with ice cubes and run the water for a second then turn off the water.
I turn the disposal on and let it turn the lemon and ice into a pile of lemon scented snow.
This cleans and sharpens the blades on the disposal and smells great while doing it.
It helps if you get lemons for free, around here they are just laying on the ground for free
pickings.
