Collard Growth

Collard Growth

Hey guys! I have a question about my collard seedlings. I planted them on March 13. The’ve sprouted and shot upquickly, they are now about 3.5″ tall with two leaves about a centimeter in diamter, and are growing another set of leaves. The stems are so thin though, that they can’t hold themselves upright. Is this an indication that my plants dont have the right kind of light, or not enough? They are in a southfacing window, and during the day I have 2-3 compact flurecents shining on them. I spent a lot of money this year on seeds, and I’ve never grown from seed before, so I dont want all my other plants to get screwed up too lol.

Oh if it matters, I did chives the same day and they look fine, along with lavendar, and some parsley that is about 1″ tall. The collards are the only ones which seem to have bolted up! Thanks!
