Compost
Well I’m halfway done. I bring the leaves in in the large trash containers, 96 gallons at a time. I mow them through the muching mower into the mower bag. Dump into barrels, add soil (actually clay subsoil), organic lawn fertilizer and soak in water overnight. Then the leaves are layers with more soil, fertilizer and left to rot. The pile has heated up quickly with the warm weather we have been having, and the three bins in the rear contain 2 1\2 yards of finished compost.
